In this article, we review the Nissan Datsun 240Z radiator and the options that current owners of the vehicle have to upgrade or replace the current radiator in the Nissan Datsun 240Z.

OEM Factory Radiator

Nissan does not produce new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) radiators for the Datsun 240Z to the best of our knowledge. Surprisingly, Nissan does still have numerous parts for other 240Z components in their inventory. They just don’t have the radiator. You could double-check with a Nissan dealer to see if they may be able to order one. The only way to get an OEM radiator is to get one from another 240Z, car junkyard, or find a new old stock (NOS) from someone.

Aftermarket Radiators

The best way to get a new radiator is to purchase a new aftermarket radiator from one of the manufacturers that makes them. Mishimoto, Koyorad, and Champion Radiators are three companies that make radiators for the Datsun 240Z. Mishimoto builds radiators that are drop-in replacements for the 240Z. They work with the stock fan that is clutch driven. They are a different design from the OEM radiator, however. In January 2020, they were selling the radiator for $273.95. You can view their radiator and the other companies’ radiators by viewing the links in the list below.
